The Belem celebrate its 120 years

The Théâtre de la Mer is an open-air space in the town of Sète by the sea. With 1,435 seats, this theater is actually an old fort named Saint-Pierre. This unique and magical setting has welcomed artists such as Claude François, Ben Harper and even Thomas Dutronc and today hosts several festivals such as Jazz à Sète or Fiest’A Sète.

Built in the workshops of Dubigeon in 1896, Belem as been restored and classified historical monument in 1984. Now a school-boat, it offers to anyone the chance to experience sailing. It belongs to the Belem’s foundation. It is also a moving museum that opens its doors in every harbour.
